We’re remodeling our kitchen. If we replace the countertops with Corian, we can get a Corian sink. However, we have a triple sink by Elkay that is really too nice to discard, so we may keep it instead of getting the Corian sink. After 16 years, it shows a bit of wear, so I was wondering if there’s any place that refinishes stainless steel sinks… auto repair shop maybe? Anybody out there got any ideas or advice?
there is a stainless sink polish youcould find at a hardware store.

Maybe a plumbing or welding shop. If not, try cleaning it with diluted muriatic acid, available in the plumbing section of most hardware stores for about $3 or $4 a gallon. FOLLOW ALL CAUTIONS ON JUG!!!

16 years is plenty of wear and stainless steel sinks are relatively cheap but i dont know about the price of a 3 dinger so i would replace with new and perhaps you can use that one in the basement/

If you got it new looking again, it’s only gonna last a couple months anyhow. You can spruce it up quite nicely using abrasive cleanser, stainless polish or polishing compound. Try a cheap solution and see if you like it!
